BACK TO THE FUTURE 4? Not so fast!

THR asked the filmmaker backstage at the Saturn Awards whether the Michael J.Fox/Christopher Lloyd starring movies could continue. “People always say, well, ‘When are you guys going to do Back to the Future 4? And we say, ‘Fuck you,’ you quote me on that!” Gale continued: “We made three terrific movies and people kept asking for more Back to the Future. So we made Back to the Future: The Musical … We’re taking it around the world.” Years ago, there was a rumour that a fourth film was in the works, with Marty and Doc joined on an adventure by a scientist, to be played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Nothing come of it.
