Cast starts to fill for new SCOOBY-DOO!

We recently learned that Mckenna Grace (Scream 7) has joined the cast of the live-action Scooby Doo series at Netflix. She’ll play Daphne Blake, the character previously played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the two Scooby Doo live-action movies. Today, via WhatsOnNetflix, word that Paul Walter Hauser of Cobra Kai fame will play Scooby’s original owner in the new TV series. Here’s the official synopsis of the live-action series, which will run for eight episodes. During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.
