A sequel series to BUFFY, THE VAMPIRE SLAYER is in the works with Sarah Michelle Gellar in talks to bring back her iconic character. Gellar would also produce the new version, which is in the works at Hulu. Deadline, who had the news, aren’t sure who else is expected to return, but lists Chloé Zhao (THE ETERNALS) as the director of the pilot, which is happening soon. Lilla and Nora Zuckerman will write it.
