ANYONE BUT YOU stars doing thrillers – just not with each other

Sydney Sweeney’s next movie, THE HOUSEMAID is a thriller that’s from GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) director Paul Feig. Releasing December 19, 2025, Deadline says the movie also stars Amanda Seyfried (MAMMA MIA!) and Brandon Sklenar, and is about a housemaid who discovers her employers secrets are very dangerous. Meantime, Sydney’s ANYONE BUT YOU co-star Glenn Powell is producing and starring in a thriller of his own – an erotic sci-fi thriller, actually. HOMEWRECKERS is being written by Neil M. Paik, who wrote the three chapter story it’s based on. Legendary, who makes the ENOLA HOMES movies, will make this. Sony are going to make a sequel to ANYONE BUT  YOU but there’s no date when it’ll even film, let alone come out.
