Award winning actor John Lithgow (DEXTER, FOOTLOOSE) is in talks to play Dumbledore in the new HARRY POTTER series.

The HBO max series is designed to run for over a decade, going into more detail than the films could.

The writer/showrunner is Francesca Gardiner and the director/executive producer is Mark Mylod.
