COBRA KAI movie jumps forward in time

The new “Karate Kid” film that’s filming, and is headed to cinemas in 2025, will be set 3 years after “Cobra Kai”, it has been revealed.While it’s not known what happens in the conclusion of “Cobra Kai”, it is now evident that Daniel (Macchio) doesn’t leave Karate behind. “Karate Kid : Legends” sees new character Li Fong move to the East Coast and start studying karate under both Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Han (Jackie Chan). The first “Karate Kid” movie since 1989 will only be available in cinemas firstly. The final episodes of “Cobra Kai” air on Netflix in Feb. The new movie will also star Josh Jackson from “Dawson’s Creek”, Ming Na-Wen, and Ben Wang, and opens in May.
